Dr. Adam Black joins the Supervisory Board of Infinitas Learning

I’m delighted to announce that I’m joining the Supervisory Board of Infinitas Learning.

What is Infinitas Learning?

Infinitas Learning is one of Europe’s leading educational resources companies. Through its family of trusted education brands—including Noordhoff (Netherlands), Plantyn (Belgium), Liber (Sweden), LeYa (Portugal), WSiP (Poland) and Futurewhiz—it supports more than 10 million learners every year across Europe.

The company provides educational content, digital platforms and learning services across primary, secondary, vocational, higher and professional education. Its businesses hold leading positions in their respective markets and are helping shape the future of teaching and learning through a combination of high-quality content, digital innovation and responsible use of AI.

Why is this a transformational chapter for educational publishing?

Throughout my career at Pearson, Macmillan Learning and, more recently, as an advisor to leading education, technology, and AI organisations around the world, I have been fascinated by a recurring challenge:

How can educational organisations preserve the trust, quality and local relevance that educators depend upon while simultaneously embracing the opportunities created by digital platforms, data and AI?

Infinitas Learning sits at the centre of this. It combines local market leadership with the leverage gained from shared platforms, technology and innovation across multiple countries.

What is my role?

As a member of the Supervisory Board, I will work alongside my fellow board members, management team and investors to support the company’s long-term development.

Drawing on my experience at Pearson, Macmillan Learning and as an advisor to education, AI and technology organisations globally, I expect to contribute particularly in the areas of:

• educational publishing and learning services
digital and platform transformation
• AI and content operations
product and portfolio strategy
• growth and international expansion
learning efficacy and educational impact

I am excited to work with the Infinitas Learning team as they continue to build one of Europe’s most innovative and trusted education businesses.
